On the evening of September 11, the latest collection from designer Gu Axin (Yang Chunlin) was showcased at SS25 China International Fashion Week. The inspiration for this season’s designs came from the “Guizhou Village T” runway, where local villagers presented their cultural heritage. The collection integrates a variety of ethnic intangible cultural heritage elements, including Miao embroidery, Dong embroidery, Shui ethnic horsehair embroidery, Bouyei appliqué embroidery, Zhuang ethnic strap embroidery, Miao silver jewelry, and Miao batik. These traditional elements have been revitalized through the designer’s modern fashion approach.
